Kate Gosselin is hitting back after her son Collin renewed his explosive allegations against her — insisting that her children know the truth about who she really is.
The former “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star, 51, addressed the firestorm in the comments of her latest TikTok video, brushing off Collin’s recent accusations that the reality TV mom is using money to manipulate his sister Hannah.
“I know who I am and my kids know who I truly am and to me, that’s all that matters,” Kate replied to a fan who praised her for making “sacrifices that no mama should have had to make alone.”
The video itself was posted in celebration of her boyfriend Steve Neild’s birthday — but the comment section was quickly flooded with questions about Collin’s allegations of abuse during his childhood, claims Kate has vehemently denied.
The memoir that reignited the feud
Collin Gosselin, 22, renewed his allegations in his new memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” which was released on October 13.
In the book, Collin — one of the famous sextuplets — lays out a slew of allegations against his mother, claiming physical and emotional abuse throughout his childhood.
He also revealed how his relationship with his siblings has become strained, saying he hasn’t talked to them in 10 years.
“I love them very much, and I want them to know that what was done to us as children is not normal,” he told Page Six earlier this month.
In his memoir, the 22-year-old wrote: “I sincerely love all my siblings. If any of them ever read this, I hope they know that.”
A family torn apart
Collin has been estranged from his mother since 2016, when she sent him to live in a behavioral health institution at age 11 for alleged behavioral issues.
His father Jon ultimately obtained legal and physical custody of Collin in 2018 after getting him out of the facility.
Jon also obtained custody of Hannah after she left Kate’s home, while the remaining sextuplets — Aden, Joel, Alexis, and Leah — continued living with their mother, along with twins Mady and Cara.
The family rose to fame on the TLC reality series “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which ran between 2007 and 2017 and followed parents Jon and Kate Gosselin as they raised their eight children — a pair of twins and sextuplets. The couple separated in 2009.
Kate’s response
In her TikTok replies, Kate also agreed with another fan who wrote: “If you can’t imagine ever making those decisions for your child, consider yourself extremely lucky that it is not something you have experienced.”
“Thank you! Yes! They have NO idea how lucky they are if they have no idea what it’s like having a child or relative with mental illness,” Kate replied.
The back-and-forth marks the latest chapter in one of reality TV’s most painful family rifts — a story that began on camera nearly two decades ago and is now playing out in memoirs and TikTok comments.
