Kate Hudson isn’t quite ready to leave her Hawaiian getaway behind — and fans aren’t ready to stop talking about it either.
The 47-year-old actress shared a series of vacation throwbacks on Instagram, including photos from a recent trip to Hawaii for a friend’s wedding.
In one photo, Hudson showed off her toned figure in a bright red bandeau bikini while relaxing on the beach with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.
The “Song Sung Blue” star wore dark sunglasses and a gold necklace, with her blonde hair pulled back as she sat beside Fujikawa, who went shirtless in patterned swim trunks and a baseball cap.
“Mentally still here,” Hudson captioned the Instagram carousel.
Fans can’t stop praising her
Another photo captured Hudson soaking up the sun alongside a friend as the two lounged on separate white towels spread across the sand.
Hudson wore the same red bikini while her friend opted for a black two-piece. Both accessorized with dark sunglasses as they enjoyed the sunny weather.
The actress’s followers were quick to react to the vacation photos, with several praising her appearance.
“I feel like all the women I grew up with and watched on tv, who are around the same age as me, are absolutely glowing in their 40s-50s era,” one person commented.
“There’s a confidence, a freedom and a beauty that comes with this stage of life. You’re glowing, Kate.”

A star-studded wedding weekend
The beach getaway also included a glamorous evening celebrating a friend’s wedding.
Hudson had travelled to Lanai, Hawaii, for the wedding of her longtime friend, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, to billionaire Geoff Ogunlesi on October 10, staying at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.
In another photo, Hudson traded her bikini for a strapless, floor-length gown covered in shimmering embellishments as she posed with a friend wearing a white feather-trimmed dress.
The two smiled for the camera while holding drinks at an outdoor reception decorated with elaborate white floral arrangements.
The guest list was pure Hollywood: Tobey Maguire — Meyer’s ex-husband — officiated the ceremony, while Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos were also in attendance.
Between wedding festivities, Hudson even squeezed in her signature wellness routine right on the coastline, sharing video of herself running through Pilates exercises on the sand in the bright red bikini.
Why her own wedding is still on hold
Hudson, who has been engaged to Fujikawa since 2021, recently revealed on her podcast why she is in no hurry to tie the knot herself — citing the high costs and the logistical difficulty of planning an event for a large family that would require at least 50 relatives.
The mother-of-three shares daughter Rani, 8, with Fujikawa, son Bingham, 15, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and son Ryder, 22, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
For now, fans will have to keep wondering when she’ll finally become a bride herself. In the meantime, her Hawaiian getaway has delivered plenty to talk about — from that glittering evening gown to the red bikini that put her impressive abs on full display.
