Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are officially married — and they made sure their old Good Morning America family wasn’t there to see it.

Page Six has exclusively learned that the former ABC News anchors tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Washington County, Arkansas, on September 19, according to their marriage license. And in a move that’s raising eyebrows, the couple left their former GMA colleagues completely off the guest list.

“Everyone was very close to Amy when she worked at ‘GMA3,’” a source told the outlet. “She’s lost touch with a lot of people from there since she left. People who would’ve been a part of a milestone for her years ago were not included.”

The snub isn’t entirely surprising given how the pair exited ABC News. Their off-screen romance made headlines in late 2022, leading to their departures from the network in early 2023. Since then, the two have rebuilt as podcast hosts — but the bridge back to their old newsroom appears well and truly burned.

Sources say the wedding was so under wraps that even some of the couple’s closest confidantes had no idea it was happening.

The Arkansas ceremony marks the third marriage for both Robach and Holmes. Robach, 53, shares two daughters with ex-husband Andrew Shue, to whom she was married from 2010 to 2023. Holmes has three children from his previous marriages.

Neither Robach nor Holmes has publicly addressed the wedding yet — but after years of making headlines together, it seems the couple wanted this one moment entirely for themselves.

The Exes Strike Back: Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig Are Engaged

In the ultimate plot twist, the couple’s exes just stole the spotlight. Page Six reported on October 21 that Andrew Shue — Robach’s former husband — and Marilee Fiebig — Holmes’s former wife — have announced their own engagement, just weeks after Robach and Holmes tied the knot.

Shue, 59, confirmed to People that he and Fiebig, 48, got engaged in the spring after three years of dating. “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending,” the businessman said. Shue admitted he “had to accept my own part in marriage not working out for me” — and said finding “the right person” in Fiebig “has been an extraordinary gift.”

“Again, I don’t know how it happened, but I can say I’m grateful,” he added, describing a journey through “a lot of pain and a lot of struggle and a lot of humility” that taught him “the magic of love is when you go from a need to giving.”

Shue said the two fell in love by being “able to share ourselves with each other in a time where we both needed a friend.” A source told Page Six back in 2023, when the pairing first surfaced: “It turned into something else, and they’re connected over their values. It’s bigger than the affair now.”

A Timeline Four Years in the Making

The secret ceremony was the finish line of a saga that began in November 2022, when the co-anchors’ months-long workplace romance was exposed while both were still married — Robach to Shue, Holmes to Fiebig. Pulled off air during an internal investigation, they never returned to their hosting chairs. On January 27, 2023, ABC News President Kim Godwin made it official: “After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News.”

The pair rebuilt as podcast hosts, launching their “Amy & T.J.” show with iHeart. They announced their engagement there in October 2025 — revealing they had already been engaged “for just about a month.” Holmes admitted they wanted fans to hear it from them first: “We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.” Robach joked that despite flaunting her engagement ring in “three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row,” nobody said a word — maybe they were just being “polite” and didn’t “want to pry.”

TMZ was first to report the marriage license: Page Six confirmed Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, applied for it on September 18 in Washington County, Arkansas — Holmes’s home state. The private ceremony followed a day later on September 19, and the union was officially registered with the county clerk’s office.

The Scars They Carried Into the Marriage

Neither romance has been short on collateral damage. Robach has said the fallout nearly broke her: “There were days when I wanted to die,” she told listeners in the podcast’s premiere episode, calling it “a year of hell.” Holmes put it just as plainly: “We’re the folks who lost the jobs we love because we love each other.”

Robach even turned down job offers — including one major network gig — to stay aligned with Holmes, Page Six reported. And the couple has never wavered on their version of events. “To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case,” Holmes said on the podcast in December 2023, claiming both were already “in divorce proceedings” with their exes when they got together.

On paper, it’s a full house of exes and kids: Robach shares two daughters with Shue, to whom she was married from 2010 to 2023, after an earlier marriage to Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2009. Holmes shares two children with his first wife, Amy Ferson, whom he was married to from 2004 to 2007, and one daughter, Sabine, 13, with Fiebig, his wife from 2010 to 2023.

Four years, two broken marriages, one secret wedding — and now a rival engagement from the very exes they left behind. This love story isn’t over. It’s just getting a sequel.
